Ambulance Gauntlet – 4pm Start
(Slinger, WI) Sunday Afternoon May 22nd Round One of The Pepsi Challenge Series. A 75 Lap Super Late Model Feature will headline the racing events along with an Ambulance Gauntlet Race. The Gauntlet is always exciting to see who is superior. Will the chase cars stop the Ambulance or can the Ambulance persevere and fend off the cars to win the Gauntlet? Super Late Models will be joined by: Late Models, Midwest Sportsman, Thunderstock, Slinger Bee’s, Amber Inn Figure 8’s, Westbury Bank Speedway Guest Cars and one on one spectator races. Gates open at 2 pm with Racing at 4 pm.
The Super Late Models have been out of action since the May first opener and resume weekly action this Sunday afternoon. With Mothers Day off two weeks ago and Mother Nature calling the shots last weekend the Slinger Speedway race teams are ready to get back at it. Brad “JJ” Mueller is planning to make his 2011 debut at Slinger and looking forward to battling Prunty, Morgan, Bennett, Feiler, Apel, Egan and a host of others for a run at the checkered flag.
Pepsi is the official soft drink of Slinger Speedway. Pepsi’s roster of beverages includes core Pepsi brands, such as Pepsi-Cola, Diet Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Sierra Mist and Aquafina. Pepsi also distributes brands from other companies like Lipton Iced Tea, Dr Pepper and Starbucks ready-to-drink coffees.
