Rose is currently ranked ninth in the division’s championship standings. The 16-year-old driver is a member of Troop 840 and holds the rank of star scout.
“There are a lot of lessons that I take from scouting into the race car every week,” said Rose. “Work hard, do your best and have fun with it is how I approach scouting and racing.”
Gates open Sunday night at 4:30 p.m. with qualifying scheduled for 5:00. Kid’s race car rides will begin at 6:00 with opening ceremonies set for 6:30 and racing to follow.
