Reunion Night Marks Track’s 69th Year

(Slinger, WI) The Slinger Super Speedway celebrates its 69th season of racing, Sunday night, June 12, as Thrivent Financial presents Reunion Night. Born as a quarter-mile dirt track, the Slinger Speedway has evolved in to one of the premier asphalt short-tracks in the country.

Slinger, Wis., June 5—Chris Blawat covered the field Sunday night to capture his first super late model feature victory in nearly four years in the 60-lap main event at the Slinger Super Speedway.

“We just started getting motivated this year, “Blawat told the crowd after rebounding from a crash last week to lead the final 56 laps en route to his first feature victory since 2012, “We’ve had some bad luck but the car ran great tonight.”


MACC Fund day Wednesday June 22, 2016

The Rocky Rococo at 8300 West Brown Deer Road in Milwaukee will be holding an all-day benefit for the MACC Fund on Wednesday June 22, 2016. John Degnitz, a long time sponsor of the 17b sprint car driven by the Northpole Nightmare Bill Balog, will be donating 17% of all sales that day to honor Bill’s 2016 race to benefit the MACC Fund. Bill will be appearing with his sprint car from 11am to 7pm that day.

Slinger, Wis., May 29—South Eastern Wisconsin Short Track Hall of Famer Conrad Morgan notched yet another win in his impressive career as he drove to victory in the E.H. Wolf and Sons Memorial Day 75-lap super late model feature Sunday night at the Singer Super Speedway.

After taking the lead near the halfway mark, Morgan held off a hard charging Alex Prunty his first super late model feature victory of the season while for Prunty, it was the super late model rookie’s second consecutive runner-up finish.
