Slinger, Wis., May 15— Two familiar combatants dueled for the win in the 24th annual Alan Kulwicki Memorial super late model feature Sunday night at the Slinger Speedway as Dennis Prunty edged Steve Apel in yet another photo finish.

(Slinger, WI) After a scheduled week off, racing returns to the Slinger Super Speedway, Sunday evening, May 15.

Super late models will headline with the 24th annual running of the Alan Kulwicki Memorial. They’ll be joined by late models, area sportsman, Slinger bees and figure 8’s as the high banked quarter mile oval begins its evening race tradition after opening the 2016 campaign with an afternoon affair.

Slinger, Wis., April 24— As the laps wound down, Dennis Prunty outdueled Steve Apel in heavy traffic to capture the victory in the season opening Miller Lite 75 Sunday afternoon at the Slinger Super Speedway.

(Slinger, WI) NASCAR Sprint Cup Series superstar Matt Kenseth, who has won more Slinger Nationals championships than any other driver, announced he will return on Tuesday evening, July 19, to compete in the 37th annual event.

Kenseth, after skipping last year's Nationals, can't wait to return. “It’s always fun to get back to the Slinger Nationals,” said Kenseth. "It’s been the biggest short-track race in Wisconsin for a long time and one of the most well known in the country."
