Slinger, Wis., July 13—Austin Nason drove to his first career Big 8 Late Model Series victory after a hard fought battle with Casey Johnson and Jon Reynolds Jr. in the King of the High Banks 68 while Jeff Holtz topped the Mid-American Stock Car Series 48 lap main event Sunday night at the Slinger Super Speedway.

35th Annual Event up Next for Defending Track Champion

(Slinger, WI) Steve Apel beat a talented field to the checkered flag in last year’s running of the SUPERSEAL Slinger Nationals presented by Miller Lite. He outraced one of his idols, posed for pictures in victory lane and held the prestigious Larry Detjens Memorial trophy. But he didn’t make it out of post-race technical inspection. A tapered carburetor spacer, an oversight by Apel and his team, cost the 25 year-old racer the biggest win of his career. Tuesday, July 15, at Slinger Super Speedway, Apel gets his chance at redemption.

Matt Kenseth VIP Meet and Greet Autograph Tickets Available

(Slinger, WI) The 35th annual running of the SUPERSEAL Slinger Nationals presented by Miller Lite returns to the Slinger Super Speedway, Tuesday, July 15. After a self-imposed year off from short-track racing, Matt Kenseth returns to the track where he cut his short-track teeth. "I was in the stands watching Ross race last year and figured I might as well go back out and race 'em" said the 2003 NASCAR Cup Champion. "I missed running Slinger and I'm looking forward to returning."
