(Slinger, WI) April 11, 2012 – The 65th Season for Slinger Speedway kick’s off Sunday afternoon April 29th with the Miller Lite 130 Spring Opener. The Miller Lite 130 will have a break at the half way point and this season it will be lap 65 in honor of the 65th season of racing at Slinger Speedway. Super Late Models will headline the event joined by Late Models, Midwest Sportsman, Thunderstock, Slinger Bee’s, and Figure 8’s. Gates will open at Noon and racing starts at 2:00 pm.

The Miller Lite season opener April 29 and Alan Kulwicki Memorial May 6 will have 2 pm start times. May 13 will be a test and tune day with testing from 2 to 6 pm, general admission will be free for the Mothers Day testing. We will return to racing with a 6:30pm start time May 20 for Round One of the Pepsi Challenge Series and an added treat of Figure 8 School Bus races.

Saturday April 28 fans will have the opportunity to watch all the divisions of competition for the 2012 racing season during the annual practice day. General admission on practice day is free. You can save a buck on Sunday’s tickets buying them in advance at Pioneer Plaza in Richfield, or B& S Liquor in Hartford.
