Wegner, B&B, Motor Masters, Tiry Step Up Big
(Slinger, WI) Racing Manufactures are stepping up to the plate at Slinger Speedway for the 2012 race season. Topping the list are two engines that will be given away at the Slinger Speedway awards banquet. Wegner Motorsports will be giving away an LS SLM engine, and B&B Racing Engines will be giving a 9-1 or Ace Engine. Tiry’s Engines will be giving money off engine rebuilds of $1000 to SLM, $500 to LM, $400 to MWS and $300 to Thunderstocks, Motor Masters Racing Equipment also will be giving money off engine rebuilds; $1000 to SLM and $500 to Late Models.
It’s not just the engine manufactures that are stepping up. The following companies will be participating in the Slinger Speedway Contingency program. Five Star, Diamond Wheels, Bassett Wheels, Hoosier Racing Tire, Genal Tire Sales, Afco, Speed Graphics, ARP Bodies, Pathfinder Chassis, Behling Racing Equipment, Hyperco, Intercomp, Appleton, Goodyear, Quarter Master, Just Sew Sports, AMSOIL, NetwurX, AFLAC, Red Rock Saloon. There are a few more deals in the works, so the list will keep growing.
The 65th Season for Slinger Speedway kicks off Sunday afternoon April 29th with the Miller Lite 130 Season Opener. Super Late Models will headline the event joined by Late Models, Midwest Sportsman, Thunderstock, Slinger Bee’s, Figure 8’s, and One on One spectator races. Qualifying will start at Noon with racing at 2:00 pm.
