Midwest Sportsman Make First 2015 Appearance
(Slinger, WI) A championship race within a championship is up this Sunday night, May 31, at the Slinger Super Speedway as the track hosts round one of the Pepsi Challenge Series for the super late models. In addition to season-long championship points, drivers will be competing for the overall crown of the three-race Pepsi Challenge Series.

(Slinger, WI) A championship race within a championship is up this Sunday night, May 31, at the Slinger Super Speedway as the track hosts round one of the Pepsi Challenge Series for the super late models. In addition to season-long championship points, drivers will be competing for the overall crown of the three-race Pepsi Challenge Series.
While he finished in the runner-up spot in the season-long 2014 championship point standings, Dennis Prunty was crowned the Pepsi Challenge Series champion. Prunty was propelled to the Challenge Series crown on the strength of two feature wins.
“It was disappointing to come up short on the track championship last year,” recalled Prunty. “But it was nice to be able to chase the Pepsi Challenge Series points and go to the banquet and take home a little extra hardware and point fund money.”
For the first time in 2015, the super late models will be joined on Sunday night by the Midwest Sportsman. A full program of Slinger bee’s and area sportsman racing as well as the night capper, figure 8’s also awaits.
Gates open Sunday evening at 4:45 p.m. with qualifying at 5:00. Opening ceremonies are set for 6:30 with racing to follow.
