Prelude to the Nationals Features Badgerland Challenge Series

Annual Event Lifts Lid on Busy 8-Day Stretch

(Slinger, WI) The Badgerland Challenge Series for late models and area sportsman highlights the Prelude to the Nationals, Sunday night, July 16, at the Slinger Super Speedway and lifts the lid on an exciting eight-day stretch of racing at the world’s fastest high-banked quarter-mile oval.

Autism Awareness and Foolery’s Liquid Therapy present the race program that features the late models and a full program for the area sportsman, Midwest sportsman, super beez, Slinger bee’s, figure 8’s and one-on-one spectator races.

The Badgerland Challenge Series is a mini-series which features a race night at Jefferson (Wis) Speedway as well as Madison (Wis) International Speedway. Because of the mini-series aspect of the Badgerland Challenge Series, each event promises to bring with it many drivers and teams that do not compete at Slinger on a weekly basis. It also offers a unique qualifying format and allows the Slinger Speedway regulars to protect their turf.

Gates open Sunday evening at 4:45 p.m. with qualifying at 5:00. Opening ceremonies are set for 6:30 with racing to follow.

The night sets the stage for the 38th annual SuperSeal Slinger Nationals presented by Miller Lite, Tuesday night, July 18. Fans can purchase their Slinger Nationals tickets in advance and save $5. Tickets can be purchased through the Slinger Speedway website or at the track on Sunday night.
