First of Two SlamFests on Tap at Slinger Super Speedway, June 20

(Slinger, WI) With the popularity of Slinger Speedway SlamFest reaching standing-room-only proportions in recent years, track management elected to host two destruction events in 2020. SlamFest 1 is just around the corner, scheduled for Saturday night, June 20.

SlamFest will feature hours of organized on-track destruction, thrills and fun and include events like the B-Track Barrell race; School Bus Figure 8; the Gauntlet; Motorcycle Burn Out contest; the Little Switzerland Ski Race and more. The evening will conclude with a massive Demolition Derby.

“We began this event 10 years ago and we just wanted to have fun and put on a different and entertaining event for the fans and the competitors,” said Slinger Speedway promoter Todd Thelen. “It has grown beyond our wildest imagination.

Spectator gates open at 4:45 pm with opening ceremonies slated for 6:30 pm, with fun and slamming to follow. All grandstand seats are reserved/assigned seating and can be purchased via the track’s website, www.slingersuperspeedway.com or through the track office, during regular business hours. SlamFest 1 will be run rain or shine. Lightening, heavy rain or severe weather could force postponement to June 27.
