(Slinger, WI) The 35th annual running of the SUPERSEAL Slinger Nationals presented by Miller Lite returns to the Slinger Super Speedway, Tuesday, July 15. After a self-imposed year off from short-track racing, Matt Kenseth returns to the track where he cut his short-track teeth. “I was in the stands watching Ross race last year and figured I might as well go back out and race ’em” said the 2003 NASCAR Cup Champion. “I missed running Slinger and I’m looking forward to returning.”

For a chance to meet Matt Kenseth, there are a limited number of VIP Meet and Greet Hospitality tickets available. VIP Hospitality tickets will allow fans the opportunity to meet Kenseth, get an autograph and attend a Q&A session. On the heels of seven victories and a runner-up NASCAR Sprint Cup Series point finish in 2013, Kenseth currently rides fifth in this year’s championship standings and is battling to secure a spot in the Chase for the Sprint Cup.
The Cambridge, Wisconsin native, Kenseth, started racing Slinger-style super late models at age 18 and had immediate success at “the world’s fastest quarter mile oval.” He scored his first SUPERSEAL Slinger Nationals win in 1994, three years before he moved south to race on the NASCAR circuits full-time.
