COLE BUTCHER OUTDUELS TY MAJESKI TO WIN ASA STARS NATIONAL TOUR EL BANDIDO YANKEE TEQUILA 300 AT SLINGER
Cole Butcher outdueled Ty Majeski in a thrilling ASA Stars National Tour El Bandido Yankee Tequila 300 at Slinger Speedway, claiming victory after trading the lead in the final laps. Majeski charged from the back and finished second, with Stephen Nasse third and Derek Kraus fourth.

Slinger, Wis., June 15—The inaugural ASA Stars National Tour El Bandido Yankee Tequila 300 at the Slinger Speedway came down to a hard-fought battle between Cole Butcher and Ty Majeski with Butcher outdueling Majeski in the final laps to claim the victory.
Butcher, who started in the fourth position, first worked his way to the front of the field on lap 135 while Majeski, the fastest qualifier, started last after accepting a challenge for a $5,000 bonus if he could win from the rear of the field. Majeski found his way to the lead on lap 205 of the 300-lap race and was the winner of stage two. Majeski and Butcher then traded the top spot over the final laps. Butcher retook command of the race with 16 laps to go and then held off Majeski who made numerous challenges before having to settle for second place at the checkered flag. Stephen Nasse raced with the leaders all night and finished with a solid third place result while Derek Kraus led once for 30 laps before finishing a strong fourth. Rookie Gavin Boschele was fifth followed by fellow rookie Chase Pinsonneault in sixth. Dawson Sutton finished seventh ahead of Justin Mondiek and Kasey Kleyn in eighth and ninth respectively. Derek Thorn finished tenth. Jonathan Knee and Ty Fredrickson were the final cars on the lead lap in eleventh and twelfth.
Kyle Steckly and George Phillips were involved in an accident with seven laps to go and were credited with thirteenth and fourteenth place while Austin Nason had his strong run cut short on lap 261 after he found the frontstretch wall while battling with Boschele and finished fifteenth. Luke Fenhaus was an early favorite as he led the opening 134 laps and was the stage one winner before a trip into the outside wall exiting turn two on lap 170 relegated him to a sixteenth-place finish. Gabe Sommers experienced suspension issues on lap 127 and finished seventeenth while Gabriel Grigsby and Carson Brown rounded out the field.
Alex Lopacinski bested Brady Held to win the 30-lap Bobcat Plus Sportsman feature while Jake Schraufnagel finished third. Tom Elsinger Jr. and Brandon Tackes completed the top five finishers in fourth and fifth respectively. Jay Kalbus took the checkered flag in sixth place ahead of Andrew Meyerhofer and Sean Eurick in seventh and eighth. Jimmie Evans finished ninth and Dale Lecus Sr. was tenth. Brady Held was the fastest qualifier with a lap time of 12.742 seconds.
Todd Snow scored his first feature victory in two years as the won the 25-lap Raceway Bar and Grill Slinger Bee main event over Ricky Gebhard and Marty Tackes. Nathan Lemberger finished in fourth followed by Kendall Becker in fifth and Owen Benn in sixth. Travis Kreuser finished seventh and Scott Emrich was eighth. Rachel Czarapata took the checkered flag in ninth and Allen Maher finished tenth. Marty Tackes was the fastest qualifier after turning in a qualifying lap in 15.036 seconds.
